Global Photo Exchange (GP) allows you to easily buy and sell photos online. It helps both professional and amateur photographers who want to sell their creative digital photos and images. It is easy to register online to view these great photos from all over the world, so register now filling the form of visitor's registration page. Your ID will be instantly sent to you by email. Please choose any series of letters and numbers to create your password.

Your TOP page

After logging in with your ID and password, you will find your personal gallery, TOP page. On GP, you will find not only professional or commercial photos but also various great photos from non governmental organizations, corporations and public organizations. NGOs will show you the photos from conflict zones and disaster scenes from all over the world, while corporations and public organizations will provide you historically important photos of our time. We will send you our news and information to your TOP page. You can also ask our editors questions in our Communication page.

Search / Photo Gallery

You can search and find our photos by keyword, category, and/or date taken (AND/OR). All the photos matched to your search will be shown in a search result page. You can read information about a photo by clicking its thumbnail. Information and photo captions will help you to understand more about the photo. However, visitor members are prohibited from downloading and using the photos.

Visitor members are allowed to search only the photos from Photo providers' archive open to the public. You cannot see the photos that providers privately show to purchasers. You cannot also access to 'Special Photo Package' that GP editors let providers apply for specific themes. If you want to purchase our photos, please register as a purchaser member.

Global Photo Exchange (GP) allows you easily to sell and buy digital photos and images. Both professional and amateur photographers from all over the world are showing and selling their creative photos in GP. GP provides you 6 ways to purchase these amazing photos, from direct ordering to providers to purchasing from the 'Special Photo Package'.
Register now by filling out the purchasers' registration page. Your ID will be instantly sent to your registered email address, so be sure to let us know your email address. Please choose any series of letters and numbers to create your password.
Please provide us with the purchaser's name, whether it is an individual or an organization (or a contact in an organization).

Purchase of Prints and Slides

Please contact GP Editor by Email info@globalphotoex.com, if you want purchase analog-state photos such as prints and slides. We will make the arrangement.

Your TOP page

Logging in with your ID and password, you will find your TOP page customized just for you. GP will send you news and information through your personal TOP page. In your Communication page, you can ask GP editors questions about our photos and also you can communicate with a Photo provider through filling out an order form to tell the provider the photo you are looking for.

Free Press Kit

Photos in the Free Press Kit can be downloaded free of charge. The purchaser registration is necessary to identify the users.

Purchasing by order and search

1. Your own order form: GP allows you to make a customized form of order where you can order directly from Photo providers. Your order information goes to the registered information of providers who might have taken photos matching your order. Photo providers will then send you information about photos they have taken. You can order photos of future events, so you can assign multiple photographers for photos you will need in the near future.
Your customized order form can also automatically search and find matching photos out of GP's photo archive.
You can change or cancel your order and alter the deadline date even after completing an order in your page.

2. To Search: You can find photos not only by making an order but also by using our search corner in our archive. Click the 'Search Photo' button in the menu bar and find photos by photographer, date taken, category or keyword (AND/OR). Your order form requires many criteria to find a photo, so sometimes it is easier to use our searching system with less specific conditions.

Purchasing by using "Checking Contents"

Click 'Checking Contents' button and you can buy photos choosing from three of our featured packs.
GP helps photographers to sell their 'Special Photo Package' and 'Exclusive Photo Box' too. Other than these, GP editors also provide you with 'GP Special Package'. GP editors set specific themes for GP Special Package and photo providers can apply for the pack. Click the theme of your interest in GP Special Package and enjoy!
You can also buy photos shown in our Photo Gallery, as long as they are not uploaded as 'not for sale'.

How to pay and download

You can pay with your credit card. You can also redeem the points given by GP according to the price of photos. 1 point equals 1 yen and the points are given to you when you transfer the money to GP's bank account.
Please download the purchased photos immediately after payment. After a certain time, information about purchased photos will be deleted from your purchasing record page.

To enlarge a photo and read information form

Enlarge a photo by clicking its thumbnail. You can also find information such as its photo caption and the price.

To see photo's quality and size of data

GP's photos uploaded by photographers are usually 2 to 10 MB. But smaller sized photos are sometimes uploaded as well. Please confirm the size of the photo before purchasing.
Please consult with GP editors when you need a high resolution photo or you need an original print from the provider.

Purchasing by Order Form

To complete an order form	1) To fill an order form Fill an order form in 'Photo Order' page and click 'Next'. 2) To confirm your order Confirm the information of your order in 'Photo Order (confirm)' page and click 'Order Info'. If you want to change your order, click 'Change' and return to 'Photo Order' page. 3) To complete your order Your order is issued. If necessary, you can check order information by clicking 'View Detail' in the 'Photo Order (complete)' page.
To confirm order information and 'See the cart'	1) To confirm your list of orders From the bar menu of the 'Photo Order' page, click and open the 'record of orders' page, and click the number of your order to confirm. 2) To confirm the information of your order In the 'Order Info' of 'Photo Order' page, click 'photos applied for your order' (or 'photos automatically matched to your order') 3) Go to the cart Mark the photos you want to purchase and click 'See the cart' 4)Complete adding items to the cart Photos are added to your cart when cart icons appear under the chosen photos. When purchasing, click 'See the cart'.
To purchase a photo	1) To choose photos to purchase Choose 'See the cart' from the scrolling bar of 'Purchase Photos'. Mark the photos you want to buy and click 'To Payment'. 2) To choose a way to pay Choose to use credit card or to redeem your points in 'Payment' page and click 'Pay'.
To download	1) To see the page of purchased photo(s) The 'You have completed your payment' page pops up automatically. Click 'See purchased photo'. 2) To download purchased photo(s) In the 'See purchased photo' page, click 'Download all the marked photo'. When asked 'open or save this file?', choose 'open'. 3) To complete downloading Click the saved file in your computer. Please make sure the photo was downloaded properly. Please print out the photo information of purchased photos from the 'See the cart' page.

Purchasing by Searching

To find a photo	Click 'Search' in the 'Search Photo' page.
To add a photo to your cart	1) To add a photo to your cart In search result page, mark the photo(s) you want to buy and click 'Add to your cart'. 2) To complete adding items to the cart A cart icon will appear below the marked photo(s).
To purchase a photo	1) To choose photos to purchase Choose 'See the cart' from the scrolling bar of 'Purchase Photos'. Mark the photos you want to buy and click 'To Payment'. 2) To choose a way to pay Choose to use credit card or to redeem your points in 'Payment' page and click 'Pay'.
To download	1) To see the page of purchased photo(s) The 'You have completed your payment' page pops up automatically. Click 'See purchased photo'. 2) To download purchased photo(s) In the 'See purchased photo' page, click 'Download all the marked photo'. When asked 'open or save this file?', choose 'open'. 3) To complete downloading Click the saved file in your computer. Please make sure the photo was downloaded properly. Please print out the photo information of purchased photos from the 'See the cart' page.

Purchasing from 'Special Photo Package'

To view	Click 'Special Photo Package' from the 'Check Contents' menu.
'Special Photo Package'	1) Choose and click the theme of your interest after confirming the expiration date. 2) Click a thumbnail photo and read its photo caption and the price, etc. 3) Mark the photo(s) you want to buy. 4) Click 'Add to your cart'. A cart icon will appear below the photo(s). 5) Click 'Your cart'
To purchase a photo	1) To choose photos to purchase Choose 'See the cart' from the scrolling bar of 'Purchase Photos'. Mark the photos you want to buy and click 'To Payment'. 2) To choose a way to pay Choose to use credit card or to redeem your points in 'To Payment' page and click 'Pay'.
To download	1) To see the page of purchased photo(s) The 'You have completed your payment' page pops up automatically. Purchasing from 'Exclusive Photo Box'

To view	Click 'Exclusive Photo Box' from 'Check Contents' menu.
'Exclusive Photo Box'	1) Choose and click the theme of your interest after confirming the expiration date. 2) Click a thumbnail photo and read its photo caption and the price, etc. 3) Mark the photo(s) you want to buy. 4) Click 'Add to your cart'. To view	Click 'GP Special Package' from 'Check Contents' menu.
'GP Special Package'	1) Click the theme of your interest in 'GP Special Package Open Now' page. 2) Click a thumbnail photo and read its photo caption and the price, etc. 3) Mark the photo(s) you want to buy. 4) Click 'Add to your cart'. A cart icon will appear below the photo(s). 5) Click 'Your cart'.

Purchasing from 'Photo Gallery'

To view	Click 'Photo Gallery' from 'Check Contents' menu.
'Photo Gallery'	1) Choose the title of your interest. You can do it either searching from 'New Arrival' or finding by categories. 2) View the slide show. 3) Click 'Buy' below the slide show page.
To choose	Mark the photo(s) you want to buy from the photos in the 'Photo Gallery' page. Click 'Add to your cart' and then 'Your cart'.
To purchase a photo	1) To choose photos to purchase Choose 'See the cart' from the scrolling bar of 'Purchase Photos'. Mark the photos you want to buy and click 'To Payment'. 2) To choose a way to pay Choose to use credit card or to redeem your points in 'To Payment' page and click 'Pay'.
To download	1) To see the page of purchased photo(s) The 'You have completed your payment' page pops up automatically. Click 'See purchased photo'. 2) To download purchased photo(s) In the 'See purchased photo' page, click 'Download all the marked photo'. When asked 'open or save this file?' choose 'open'. 3) To complete downloading Click the saved file in your computer. Please make sure the photo was downloaded properly. Please print out the photo information of purchased photos from the 'See the cart' page.

Download from Free Press Kit

To view	Click Free Press Kit from 'Check Contents' menu.
To choose and to download	1) Click the name of Photo Provider you search. 2) Open a thumbnail screen clicking Subject. 3) Confirm the content clicking a thumbnail photo. 4) Return to a thumbnail screen by Back of a browser. 5) Put marks on the photos to be downloaded. 6) Click "Download it". The photos are compressed collectively into the zip file and downloaded.

Also provide us with the provider's name and specify whether it is an individual or an organization (or a contact in an organization). Registered information can be changed at any time after registration. We will send 'User Guide' to your email address. It will help you learn how to use the GP website.

Use of Free Press Kit System

The GP site prepares the system that delivers the selection of the user and suitable photograph for printing media that can be used free of charge. It is possible to use it with the tool of announcing to public etc. Please select a free donor of the hope for the use of the free photograph delivery system when you register the donor. It will examine in the GP, and ID is issued.

Your TOP page

Logging in with your ID and password, you will find your TOP page customized for you. You can start editing your photos by uploading your favorite digital photos. You can write photo captions, provide the date taken, set the price and choose your purchasers' category.
There are 6 ways to sell your photos, so you can choose the best method for your needs.
GP editors will send you our news and information to your customized TOP page. You can also ask questions to our editors and communicate with possible purchasers. GP provides you a place to sell your photos easily and securely.

Collection of bill/transfer to bank account

GP's managing office collects your bills for you. Purchasers pay by credit card or by redeeming their 'points' given by GP. 1 point equals 1 yen and the points are given to purchasers when a purchaser transfers the money to GP's bank account. You will get paid before your photo is downloaded, so you don't need to worry about outstanding balances.
GP will deduct a commission fee from the funds collected and transfer the money to your account. Our commission fee is lower than status-quo photo agencies. Please refer the details in our 'User Guide' that will be sent to you after registration.

Please choose the option best suited for you.

(1) Photo Gallery: You can show your photos in our Photo Gallery open to the public. Registered purchaser member can buy photos through their log-in page. Visitors cannot buy any photos from our Photo Gallery. We do our best to prevent unauthorized use of our photos.

(2) Special Photo Package: You can edit your 'Special Photo Package' of a specific theme in My GP page. This pack is open to our limited members.

(3) Exclusive Photo Box: You can edit your exclusive photos in My GP page.

(4) Matching with orders: You can submit your photos to a wide range of purchasers' orders online. You will get order forms matched with the category and information of your photos. You can also view all the orders in our list.

(5) GP Special Package: GP collects photos for a specific theme from time to time. Themes vary from an event to seasonal photos. For purchasers such as magazine publishers, packs of photos are easy to use.

(6) Archive: You can store your photos in our archive just as you save them in our Photo Gallery. Purchasers can easily find the photos meeting their interests by using our search system.

To upload and edit

We will send you our 'User Manual; Upload and Edit' by email. Please consult the manual for details regarding how to upload and edit photos on your computer.
Below is the basic guide for uploading and editing.

1. Upload your digital photos onto your computer.
2. Log in to the GP website with your ID and password.
3. Upload your photo(s) on to our website.
4. Write your photo captions, etc. as your photo information.
5. Distribute your photo(s) through any of our six selling options.

To delete photos

A Photo Provider can delete his or her photo from our website at anytime. Please consult our terms of use. To delete your photo(s), please read our 'User Guide'.

Copyrights and rights of portrait

GP asserts that a photo's copyright belongs to its provider member and that right of portrait belongs to the photographer. The copyright of any photos exchanged on GP does not belong to GP. However, the copyrights of any photos taken by GP photographers belong to GP. Please read our 'Rights Policy' and our 'Terms of Use'.
